Olugbenga Enitan Temitope Akinnagbe (/'beNGg@ @'ki:n@beI/BENG-g@@-@-bay born 12 December 1978) is an American actor and writer, famous for his performances as Chris Partlow on the HBO series The Wire and as Larry Brown on the HBO show The Deuce.In 2007, Akinnagbe appeared in the film The Savages with Philip Seymour Hoffman, Laura Linney, and Philip Bosco. Akinnagbe appeared in the remake of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. The film was released by Sony in June 2009. Akinnagbe was seen as Elijah Okello (a former Ugandan child soldier who lives in New York) on a season 10 Law & Order Special Victims Unit episode entitled "Hell". Robert Wisdom, Akinnagbe's ex-The Wire castmate, also appeared as Father Theo Burdett in the episode. Akinnagbe was the main character in The Thin Place, a production that premiered in the world at The Intiman Theatre in Seattle in 2010. Akinnagbe played Ben Ellis in the episode "Contenders" on the TV series Numb3rs. Akinnagbe was the character Zim in the summer of 2006.
