Mark Christopher Bauer (born October 28, 1966) is an American actor from the United States. His TV roles include The Wire and Third Watch, True Blood and Survivor's Remorse. He has also been seen in The Deuce and Apple TVand the original space science fiction drama series For All Mankind. He has also appeared on Broadway in A Streetcar Named Desire and has appeared in roles in productions by John Patrick Shanley, Jez Butterworth, as well as David Mamet. He was initially considered for the role of Jimmy McNulty. Also, he played New York Yankees' player Bob Cerv in Billy Crystal's 2001 film, 61*. He's had a number of television roles on networks and has a regular part in Fred Yokas's character Fred Yokas (husband of Officer Faith Yokas) on the NBC series Third Watch. He is also the lead role as FBI Agent Dodd in the short-lived CBS series Smith. A priest on ABC’s Life on Mars and Detective Lou Destefano on Sci-Fi channel's original miniseries The Lost Room. He was the voice of Lee Nickel on ESPN's Tilt in 2004. He was featured in the episode.
