Gal Gadot-Varsano (Hebrew: gl gdvt ['gal ga'dotborn on 30 April 1985) is an Israeli actress and model. At the age of 18 she was named Miss Israel 2004. She was then a member of the Israel Defense Forces for two years as instructor for combat fitness and then began her studies at IDC Herzliya while building her modeling and acting careers.Her debut film role in international films was Fast & Furious (2009), where she appeared as Gisele Yashar; she reprised her role as Yashar in the subsequent episodes of The Fast Saga. Gadot continued to gain global stardom in her role as Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe which included Batman Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Batman Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Wonder Woman (2017) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021).She has since appeared in the Netflix action-comedy film Red Notice (2021) and the thriller Death on the Nile (2022).Dubbed the "biggest Israeli superstar" by local media sources, Gadot was included on the list of 100 most influential individuals in the world by Time in 2018 and she has been featured twice in annual rankings of world's highest-paid actresses.
