 John McEnroe was the former American World No. one professional tennis player who has a net worth of $ 100 million. McEnroe is known for his superb technique, unprecedented number of victories, and his on-court temperament, which often got him into troubles with the tennis authorities. He has won 77 singles titles and 78 doubles titles, including 7 Grand Slam Singles titles and 9 Grand Slam men's doubles titles. He is often regarded as one of the best tennis players of all time, McEnroe is also a former Captain of the United States Davis Cup team. After his retirement, John was TV commentator as well as a game show host and also a talk show host.John McEnroe was born John Patrick McEnroe Jr. on the 16th of February, 1959 in Wiesbaden, West Germany. His parents, John and Kay, were both American and were living in Germany as his father was there to work for the U.S. Air Force. As McEnroe was a newborn his family moved to Newburgh the New York's Stewart Air Force Base, and later moved to Flushing, Queens, in 1961, and Douglaston in 1963. John's father later left the Air Force and worked as an advertising agent during the day, and studied at Fordham Law School at night.
