 The Miami Marlins will be moving to a new home with a neighbor. There's not a single other team of baseball in the area. The next Major League Soccer team's home is planned to be built near the Marlins stadium. This came about following the grant of a franchise to David Beckham's organization in 2014. It was in danger of losing the franchise due to a lack of progress on building a stadium. Now that the plans to construct one have been revealed, it shouldn't be an issue anymore. "On behalf of Miami Beckham United LLC," Beckham and his partners Marcelo Claure, Simon Fuller wrote a letter to Tomas Regalado. The Site refers the old Orange Bowl stadium. Beckham and his team initially were not a fan of the place. They even referred to the site as being spiritually corrupted because of the public funds the stadium required (close to $350 million).Beckham and his associates have been adamant from the start that no public money are going to be used for the construction of the stadium. There will be there will be no public money. Costs are estimated to be around $250 million.
