Danish actress Emilie Ullerup was born 27 October 1984. Her most famous roles include Ashley Magnus in the TV series Sanctuary as well as Bree O'Brien in the Hallmark Channel drama series Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was born in Copenhagen to Ove Ullerup Petersen, an ambassador's daughter. After graduating high school in Copenhagen, Ullerup moved to Vancouver in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia in 2005. She attended the Vancouver Film School and graduated in 2005. Her first TV role was in the role of Julia Brynn on the remake of Battlestar Galactica, which aired in 2006 on Sci Fi Channel. After her role as Ashley Magnus on the first and second seasons her character was cut off. Her departure remained a topic of intense debate among fans, with many of them wanting her brought back for future episodes until the show was pulled in 2012.In 2016, Ullerup was chosen to play Bree O'Brien in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was Maggie Thomas, the estranged wife of Michael Thomas, in the catastrophe film Asteroid: Final Impact (2015). Since the year 2016, Ullerup has been playing a regular part as Dale Travers in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films series.
