Edward Thomas Hardy CBE, born on September 15, 1977, is an English actor from England. After completing his studies at the Drama Centre in London and a film production, he made his debut in Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down (2001). Since then, he's been nominated to the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, two Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and two British Academy Film Awards. He also won the 2011 BAFTA Rising Star Award. He portrayed Mad Max Rockatansky's character in Mad Max: Fury Road in 2015, and also the Kray twins in Legend in the year 2015. He has appeared in three Christopher Nolan films: Inception (2010) as Eames, The Dark Knight Rises (2012) as Bane, as well as Dunkirk (2017) as an RAF fighter pilot. He played both Eddie Brock (and Venom) in the antihero film of 2018 Venom.
