Lauren Holly (born October 28 1963) is an American actor from America. She is an American actress who has played the roles Deputy Sheriff Maxine Steward in Picket Fences NCIS Director Jenny Shepard on the television series NCIS as well as Dr. Betty Rogers and Mary Swanson in the TV show Dumb and Dubber, Bruce Lee's wife Linda Lee, Darian Smalls and Gigi In What Women want. Holly's career in acting began at the age of 20 when she was given the role of Carla Walicki for two episodes of Hill Street Blues. At the age of 23, she joined the team of the ABC soap opera All My Children as Julie Rand Chandler (1986-1989). Holly played Betty Cooper, a comic book character in the 1990 TV film Archie: To Riverdale, and Back Again. In 1992, Holly was cast opposite Tom Skerritt as Maxine Stewart, a small-town deputy sheriff. She was featured in every episode, with the exception of one of the CBS Picket Fences seasons. In 1993's Dragon in 1993, she played Linda Lee Cadwell (the wife of Bruce Lee, a martial artist and actor).
