Kenneth Arnold Chesney (born March 26 1968) is a popular American country music artist as well as songwriter and guitarist. Chesney has released more than 20 albums and has produced over 40 Top 10 singles on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, 32 of which have climbed to number one. Many of his songs have reached the Top 40 on the US Billboard Hot 100. This is what makes his one of the top crossover country artists. He has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.Chesney has been awarded 12 Country Music Association Awards (including winning their top Entertainer of the Year honor four times) and eleven Academy of Country Music Awards (including four consecutive Entertainer of the Year awards from 2005 until the year 2008) in addition to six Grammy Award nominations. He is among the most well-known touring artists in the world of country music, frequently selling out venues in which he performs. The top-grossing country road trip was his Flip-Flop Summer Tour 2007.
