Jameela Jamil

 Jameela Alia Jamil, born 25 February 1986 is a British actress. She began her career with Channel 4, where she hosted a series on pop culture in the T4 strand from 2009 to 2012. From 2009 until 2012, she was the T4 strand host for a pop culture series. She later became radio host of The Official Chart and co-hosted The Official Chart Update with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1. She was the first solo female presenter of The Official Chart, a BBC Radio 1 chart show.In 2016 Jamil moved to the United States. In the NBC Fantasy Comedy series The Good Place, she played Tahani Al Jamil. TBS is a late-night game show, The Misery Index, is hosted by Jamil. Legendary judges her voguing reality-based show. In 2022, Jamil worked on two superhero projects that included the animated film DC League of Super-Pets and the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.She declared in 2015 that as a young girl she had to deal with a myriad of health problems; being born with hearing loss congenital and labyrinthitis for which she has had several operations to correct. She also stated she had 70% hearing ability in her left ear, and 50% hearing in the right ear.
