David Wayne Spade (born July 22, 1964) is a famous American actor stand-up comic, comedian, television host, and writer. In the 1990s, he was part of the Saturday Night Live cast. He later started an acting career in television and acting in films. He also appeared or co-starred in the movies Tommy Boy (1995), Black Sheep (1996), Joe Dirt (2001), Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010) and its sequel in 2013, The Ridiculous 6 (2015), The Do-Over (2016) The Do-Over (2016), and The Wrong Missy (2020).He has been part of an ensemble cast for two long-running sitcoms: Just Shoot Me! (1997-2003) as well as Rules of Engagement (2007-2013). In addition, he played C. J. Barnes in the sitcom 8 Simple Rules (2004-2005).
