The Order is a horror-themed streaming TV series created by Dennis Heaton. It's written by Heaton, Shelley Eriksen and Rachel Langer. Penny Gummerson and Jason Filiatrault also wrote the series. The series premiered on Netflix on March 7, 2019, The show stars Jake Manley and Sarah Grey as well as Matt Frewer, Sam Trammell and Katharine Isabelle. Following its premiere, the first season received positive reviews. The Order follows college student Jack Morton (Jake Manley) when he is accepted into the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, a secret organization that teaches and practice magic. Jack explores the history of the organization and uncovers the dark secrets of his family. Vera Stone is Vera Stone, the chancellor of Belgrave University, and a former temple magus.
