Nelson

Nelson Mandela was a South African political activist, anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician and philanthropist with an estimated net worth of $1 million at the moment of his death in December 2013. Nelson Mandela served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.The majority of Mandela's wealth came in the form of book royalties from his best selling autobiography 1994's "Long Walk to Freedom". Nelson was a speaker who spoke only in good health. Mandela was president at the time he cut his salary. On top of that, Mandela still gave 1/3 his income to South African children's charities. Nelson was divorced three times, and had six kids (only three of them were still living at the time of his death). Nelson placed the majority of his assets into more than a dozen different trust funds which would benefit his children and prevent them from further bickering. The trusts have provided numerous benefits.
