Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, born February 15, 1995, also known professionally as Megan Thee Stallion (pronounced “Megan the StallionMegan the Stallion) is an American rapper. Her birthplace is Houston, Texas. Her freestyle videos became very popular on social media sites like Instagram. Megan Thee Stallion was signed to 300 Entertainment in 2018. She released the mixtape Fever (1999) as well as the extended play Suga (2020), which both climbed to the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Her debut album as a studio Good News (2020), received a rousing critical response. She was awarded her first and second number one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 with the remix of her track "Savage" (featuring Beyonce) and also her performance on Cardi B's hit single "WAP" and the latter of which was her first number one in a number of other countries in addition to the Billboard Global 200 chart. In 2021 she was joined by Doja Cat on the remix to Ariana Grande's hit single in 2020 "34+35", which reached second place on the Billboard Hot 100. Following this, she released her first compilation album, Something for Thee Hotties (2021), which reached the top ten spot on the Billboard 200, and spawned the single "Thot Shit",
