Tran Jeong

 Tran Jeong, a Vietnamese-American family doctor is married to Ken Jeong. She is married to actor Ken Jeong, who is known for his portrayal of Ben Chang in the sitcom Community as well as the gangster Leslie Chow in The Hangover film series. Tran is of Vietnamese descent, however, she was born in the United States. She graduated from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and has been practising as an omni-specialist for over two years. While working at Kaiser Permanente West California in 2002 she became acquainted with Ken. They dated for two years prior to getting married in the year 2004. Tran as well as her husband share twin daughters, Zooey and Alexa. In 2008, a year after the birth of their children, Tran was diagnosed with breast cancer. After her diagnosis she underwent 16 sessions of chemotherapy and had an operation called a mastectomy. In the following months, she was treated with radiation therapy. Throughout the entire experience, her husband served as her primary caregiver. The doctors told her in October 2010 that she was no longer suffering from cancer. Tran Jeong, her family, and a Woodland Hills, California-based physician, currently reside in Los Angeles.
