Steve Carell

 American actor and comedian Steven John Carell was born on August 16, 1962. Carell was the character Michael Scott in The Office (2005–2011 and 2013) The Office, NBC's version of the British series created by Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant. Carell was also an occasional writer, producer, and director. Carell's appearances on film and television have been rewarded with numerous awards such as the Golden Globe Award as Best Actor for a Television Series Musical or Comedy. Life magazine named him America's most hilarious man. Also, he was recognized for his role as a reporter on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart between 1999 and 2005. He was the main character in a variety of comedy films which included Anchorman, The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), its sequel in 2013, The 40-Year Old Virgin (2005), Evan Almighty (2007), Get Smart (2008), Date Night (2009), Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011), The Way, Way Back (2013). He also voiced Over the Hedge (2006) and Horton Hears a Who! (2008) and Despicable Me (2010-present).
