 Ray J, a rapper and music producer, is currently facing legal issues. Ray J is in the process of collecting more than $26,000 in debt. Ray J allegedly appeared at the South Carolina radio station owned and operated by Cox Radio. The contract stated that Ray J would be paid $20,000 to host a local event. After the meet-and-greet, Ray J would spend one hour with his people who were there. However, according to Cox Radio, Ray J never turned up to perform the job. In the event that Ray J failed to appear for the court date, the judge in South Carolina filed suit by Cox's lawyers. Then, after Ray J (shockingly) failed to pay the $25,100 judge ruled he owed, they brought suit in the state where Ray J resides of California, and the figure has risen to the current value of $26,848.33.There's still no word from Ray J on either his version of the story, or his intentions to pay the amount he currently is owed. If he ignores the lawsuit then it's likely that the number will keep increasing and will continue to rise, especially if there's no signs that he cares about the lawsuit.
