 Rainn Wilson is an American actor as well as a comedian, director and actor with a net worth of 14 million dollars. Rainn Wilson is most widely known for his role in the American version of The Office, but he is also a part of such films and television shows as Almost Famous, "Galaxy Quest, The Rocker, Six Feet Under, CSI, and Entourage.Rainn was born Rainn Dietrich Wilson on January 20, 1966 in Seattle, Washington. His mother was Shay Cooper, a yoga instructor and actress, and his father was Robert G. Wilson (an writer and artist who is most well-known for Tentacles of Dawn). Wilson lived for a couple of years of his youth in Nicaragua and then returned to Washington where he went to middle and high school. His family moved to Illinois after he finished high school. Rainn then graduated from New Trier High School. He then enrolled at the University of Washington in Seattle and majored in acting, obtaining his bachelor's degree in 1986. Then he enrolled at New York University's Graduate Acting Program at the Tisch School of the Arts, getting an MFA in acting. He then joined the group known as The Acting Company. For the next several years prior to his breakthrough into movies and TV, Wilson acted onstage in numerous productions across the country.
