Michael Oher

 Michael Oher is an American football offensive tackle with a a net value of $16 million. Oher's story was told in "The Blind Side" the 2009 Academy Award-winning film starring Sandra Bullock & Tim McGraw. Quinton Aaron was in Michael Oher's character. Michael Oher was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 28th in 1986. Oher was born to Denise Oher, who was an addict to crack cocaine and alcohol as well as a father, Michael Jerome Williams, who was often in prison. He was not disciplined or provided with the care he required because of his upbringing. He went to 11 different schools over his first nine years of school, and repeated the first and second grades. He was taken into foster care when he was seven and was able to alternate between different foster homes and periods of homelessness. Oher's biological father, who was former cellmate, Denise Oher's brother was murdered in prison when Oher was an senior high school student. Michael Oher was a teenager named Michael Oher was finally taken into the care of Sean Tuohy and Leigh Anne Tuohy at the age of 16 and the Tuohys became the legal guardians of Oher when he turned 17. Oher was assigned a tutor who would work with the student for 20 hours per week.
