Marjorie Armstrong "Markie" Post (November 4 1950 - August 7 2021) was an American actress. From 1982 to 1985 she was popular as Terri Michaels, a bail bondswoman, on ABC. She also played Christine Sullivan, a public defense lawyer, on Night Court on NBC from 1992 until the year 1992. In 1995 she played the character of Georgie Anne Hartman. mother to Sophia Bush's character Detective Erin Lindsay. across seasons 2-4.Prior to acting, Post worked on several games shows. She began her career with the production crew of the Tom Kennedy version of Split Second. Also, she was an associate producer for CBS's Double Dare, and a card dealer for the network's Card Sharks. Following her the fame of an actress, she played different game shows as a celebrity guest on shows such as The Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour, Super Password, The (New) $25,000 Pyramid, and The $100,000 Pyramid.
