 Eva Mendes is a retired American actress, model as well as a singer and homeware designer with an estimated net worth of $20 million. Her most famous roles include "Training Day,"" "2 Fast 2 Furious," and "Hitch. "Eva de la Caridad Mendes was born to Eva Perez Suarez and Juan Carlos Mendez in Miami, Florida on March 5, 1974. Her parents are Cuban and divorced when she was very young. Eva was raised by her mother in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Eva's family is Roman Catholic. At one period in her early years, Eva thought about becoming a nun. After graduating from Hoover High School, Glendale, California, she studied marketing at California State University Northridge. She dropped out of college to pursue a career in acting.Mendes' first acting role was in the 1998 film "Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror" which was a direct-to-video horror movie. She also played the part as a bridesmaid on "A Night at the Roxbury" in 1998. In 1999 and 2000, she appeared in "My Brother the Pig" and "Urban Legends: Final Cut. Mended starred in 2012 opposite Ryan Gosling in "The Place Beyond the Pines" and in the "Girl in Progress" and "Holy Motors" movies. In 2013, she starred in HBO's "Clear History," and later in Gosling's debut directorial debut "Lost River."
