Ben Stiller is an American comedian, actor and writer. He is also a film director, writer, and producer who has an estimated net worth of $200 million. Ben Stiller is best known for his films "Zoolander", "There's Something About Mary"" and "Tropic thunder." Ben Stiller's films have earned more than $6 billion worldwide to date. He is the father of actors Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. After getting the acting bug at an early age, he resigned from UCLA Film School in his first year to focus on making an audition for agents and eventually securing an agent. When the short film "The Hustler of Money" caught the attention of "Saturday Night Live", he was requested to write for the show. The relationship with "SNL" however, was only for a short time, and he reverted to making his own short films. Then MTV called, and he was invited to create his own show, "The Ben Stiller Show". It aired for one season, and focused on his comedic short films. The Fox Network picked it up in the beginning of 1990s. It aired for a season, and was awarded an Emmy award for Outstanding Writing, before being cancelled again.
