Ayn Rand

 Ayn Rand was a well-known Russianwriter, a well-known Russian American novelist, philosopher, screenwriter and Conservative/ Libertarian political activist who was most well-known for her work on The Fountainhead (1943) and Atlas Shrugged (1957). She was born on February 2, 1905, in Saint Petersburg, Russian, to an affluent Jewish family. Ayn Rand, her birth name Alissa Zinovievna Rosenbaum. She is most well-known for being a novelist. Her philosophical system, Objectivism, is also popular. Rand died in New York City on 6 March 1982.She started her schooling at the prestigious Stoiunina Gymnasium and began writing at the age of eight. Although her parents attempted to shield their daughter from the political turmoil that was raging at the time, Alisa developed her own views and preferred a republican government in place of a constitutional monarchy. Rand, who was 9 years old, made the decision to pursue a career as an author particularly inspired by the works of Victor Hugo. The 1917 "February Revolution" broke out in Saint Petersburg, Alisa, 12 years old, was a fan of Alexander Kerensky over the Tsar Nicholas II. Their lives were interrupted when the 'October Revolution" started at the end of the year. The business of her father was taken by the Bolsheviks and her family fled to Crimea to start a new life.
