Susan Sarandon

 American actress and activist Susan Abigail Sarandon (/s@’raend@n/, nee Tomalin) was born on the 4th of October, 1946. She has been awarded numerous awards including an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award. In addition to being nominated for an Daytime Emmy Award and six Primetime Emmy Awards, she was also awarded nine Golden Globe Awards. She was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002 in recognition of her contributions to film. In 1974, she starred as an Zelda Fitzgerald surrogate in the television film F. Scott Fitzgerald and The Last of the Belles'. The next year, she appeared as Janet Weiss in the musical comedy horror film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Before being awarded the award for Dead Man Walking (1995), Sarandon was nominated to the Academy Award for Best Actress in Atlantic City (1980), Thelma and Louise (1991) as well as Lorenzo's oil (922) and The Client (1994).
