Sofia Pernas (born July 31 1989) is an American actress of Moroccan-Spanish descent who is currently living in Los Angeles. She was a part of the NBC series The Brave and currently stars in the Paramount+ action adventure series Blood & Treasure.Pernas was Marisa Sierras on The Young and the Restless from 2015 until 2017 and also appeared in the Telenovela Jane the Virgin from 2016 to 2017. In 2017 and 2018, she was a part-time actress in The Brave as Hannah Rivera. She was also a part of Jane the Virgin, the telenovela from 2016 until 2017. Her mother is Moroccan and her father is Spanish. Both are multilingual. She can speak four languages, which include English, Spanish, Arabic and German. Though she initially planned to pursue a career in journalism, she switched towards acting and modeling after being sought out.
