 Sir Michael Philip Jagger, born on July 26, 1943, is an English musician and singer. He is most well-known for his work as the lead singer and founder of the rock group The Rolling Stones. The songwriting partnership he formed with Keith Richards remains one of the most successful collaborations in the history of music. Jagger's career spans six years. Jagger is widely recognized as one of the rock's most popular and influential frontmen. Rolling Stones have been known for their unique voice and live shows that are energetic throughout their long history. Richards also has a distinctive style of guitar that has helped them become famous worldwide. Jagger's use of illicit drugs and romantic relationships earned his a lot of media interest. Jagger was also depicted as a figure of the counterculture. Jagger was born in Dartford. After completing his studies at the London School of Economics, Jagger was a member of the Rolling Stones to continue his studies. Jagger and Richards have written a majority of the Rolling Stones songs, and they continue to collaborate on music. Jagger was the main character in Performance (1970) as in Ned Kelly (1970) to mixed reviews.
