Margot Elise Robertbie (/'ma?rgoU/; born on the 2nd of July, 1990) was an Australian actress producer, director, and actress. Her work is well-known for her appearances in blockbuster films and independent movies, she has earned several accolades which include nominations for two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards as well as five British Academy Film Awards. Time magazine named Robbie one of the top 100 influential persons in the world in 2017. Forbes ranked her as one of the top-paid actresses around the globe in the year 2019. Robbie was born in Queensland and began her career on the TV show Neighbours in 2008. The show was her regular spot on the show until 2011. After her move to America, she led the television series Pan Am (2011-2012), and then made her mark in 2013 with the dark comedy film The Wolf of Wall Street. She achieved wider recognition with the lead roles of Jane Porter in The Legend of Tarzan (2016) and Harley Quinn in the DC superhero films Suicide Squad (2016), Birds of Prey (2020) and The Suicide Squad (2021).
