Kaitlyn Rochelle Dever (/'di:v@r/; born 21 December 1996) is an American actress. Her fame was boosted by her roles in the FX crime drama television series Justified (2011-2015) and the sitcom ABC/Fox Last Man Standing (2011-2021) and the Netflix drama miniseries Unbelievable (2019), and the Hulu drama Dopesick (2021). Dopesick and Unbelievable received her nominations for Golden Globe Awards. Additionally, she received an Primetime Emmy Award nomination. She was the main character in the 2019 film Them That Follow as well as Booksmart.Dever was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to Tim and Kathy Dever. She has two younger sisters, Mady and Jane Dever. At the age of five, she started to show an interest in performing arts with her parents bringing her to an acting academy. Before she became attracted to acting, she also took part in ballet, gymnastics and skating on ice.
