Halle Berry

 Halle Maria Berry (/'haeli/; born Maria Halle Berry; August 14, 1966) is an American actress from the United States. Her career began as a model and entered several beauty contests, finishing as the first runner-up of the Miss USA pageant and coming in sixth place in Miss World 1986. She made her film debut in Boomerang (1992), starring alongside Eddie Murphy. This led to roles in The Flintstones (1994), Bulworth (191998) as well as Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999). Her portrayal of widows struggling to make ends meet in the romantic drama Monster's Ball (2001), she was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress. She was the only Black woman to win this award and the sole female of color to win the award. Additionally, Storm was one of four installments of the X-Men series.
