Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress who is best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. Her career began as a performer in the 1980s. Her fame was boosted by the movie Tezaab with the veteran actor Anil Kooor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she began learning to dance at an early age. As a teen, she tried her hand at acting, but most films she attempted to make did not succeed. She eventually became one of the top actresses from Indian films. The actress took a hiatus from her career following her marriage before returning to the industry of entertainment. In recent years, Dixit was a key player in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. Padma Shri was awarded to her, which is the fourth-highest civil honour in India. Her reputation also includes as a social activist.
