Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. When she was a teenager she sang in both the traditional and popular music. However, her musical interests have expanded to include hip-hop and soul. Her voice has been described by no less talented than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, and with a bite that is similar to older versions. El Mal Querer is her second album, that was released in the year 2018, and has been a commercial and critical success. After Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, received a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as a Latin Grammy nod. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. The release date was the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish soloist to appear on Saturday Night Live. Motomami the album by Rosalia that won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to receive won the Latin Album of the Year win twice.
