 The girl aged 6 and known only as H, gave birth to an infant via Cesarean Section in Victoria Zanana Hospital, Delhi. The weight of the baby was 4.19 lb (1.90 kilogram). The hospital initially admitted her because of what was believed to be an abdominal tumor, due to localized pain in her abdomen. Her father said she was 7, but census records indicated her birth date as 10 October, 1925, making her seven and a half years aged at the time of her birth. There was no menstrual cycle and her breasts were still far from fully developed, but she was able to feed her baby for nine months.L. P. was six years old when her 69 year old maternal grandfather sexually assaulted her, and gave birth to her. She had developed physically significantly older than her age which is at minimum 10 years. The girl had sexual characteristics that were secondary and was menstruating since the age of four. The pregnancy proceeded without complications. Medical concilium at Kharkiv Obstetric and Gynecological Clinic chose to have the natural birth option, but giving birth via caesarean section in case of complications during childbirth.
