Pete Hegseth

 Peter Brian Hegseth was born on June 6 in 1980. He is an American television host, an author and Army National Guard officer. He is also the former director of two of the political advocacy organizations Vets For Freedom (now Concerned Veterans for America). Hegseth is a member of the Koch brothers the conservative advocacy group which advocates privatization of the Department of Veterans Affairs. He was an Princeton University undergraduate. He was a prominent advocate of Donald Trump's presidential campaign, and was occasional advisor to the president throughout his presidency. As per reports, he persuaded Trump that three American soldiers convicted or accused of war crimes related to the killing of non-combatants in Iraq could be granted pardons. Hegseth, who was a leader of a platoon at Guantanamo Bay during his military service, was a defender of the treatment of inmates detained in Guantanamo.
