 Larry David is an American comedian, actor, writer and director. He also produces television. Larry David's net worth was estimated to be $400 million at the date of his writing. He is most famous for creating the comedy shows "Seinfeld" as well as "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Through these two series, Larry has been producing a popular comedy series continuously since 1989.Larry has made the largest portion of his wealth due to his ownership part in the backend royalties derived by "Seinfeld." Larry and Jerry Seinfeld owned 15% each of the show's backend equity when it was sold to syndicators. Much more on this later in the article.In 1989 Larry was joined by Jerry Seinfeld to create a pilot for NBC that was initially called "The Seinfeld Chronicles." The name was later shortened to "Seinfeld." Larry was the co-creator of "Seinfeld" and executive producer. The show ran on the air from 1989 to 1998 with 180 episodes. Larry wrote 62 episodes of "Seinfeld," including the iconic episode "The Contest." David's contributions to the show have earned the show two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1993 as well as Outstanding Individual Achievement In Writing in Comedy Series in 1993.
