Tom Clancys

 American producer and author Tom Clancy had a net value of more than $300 million when he passed away in 2013. Clancy is best known for his books, many of which were made into movies and video games. Clancy was also a part chairman and owner of community activities of the Baltimore Orioles Baseball Team. Tom Clancy was born Thomas Leo Clancy Jr. on April 12, 1947, in Baltimore County. Clancy was a student of literature at Loyola College in Baltimore where the class of 1969 was his graduation. Clancy was an independent writer prior to when he began his writing career. Clancy is also the author of several non-fiction books about various branches of the military. All but two of Clancy's novels features characters like Jack Ryan or John Clark.
