Jennifer Connelly

 Jennifer Lynn Connelly, born December 12, 1970, is an American actress. Her career began as a child model before becoming an actor in the crime film Once Upon a Time in America. After modeling for a number of years, she decided to pursue acting and starred in several films, including the film of horror Phenomena (1985), Labyrinth (1986) and Career Opportunities (1991) and The Rocketeer (1991). She received praise for her role in the science fiction film Dark City (1998) and portraying a drug addict for the drama film by Darren Aronofsky Requiem for a Dream (2000).In 2002, Connelly won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Alicia Nash in Ron Howard's biopic A Beautiful Mind (2001). Her subsequent films include the superhero film Hulk (2003) as well as the horror film Dark Water (2005), the psychological drama Little Children (2006), the drama film Blood Diamond (2006), the science fiction film The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008),
