 Jason Day is an Australian professional golfer with the net worth of $50 million. Jason Day is a PGA Tour member and was the winner of 2015 PGA Championship. Day is an ex-World number one in the World Golf Ranking. He was born to Alvin Day and Dening Day in Beaudesert on November 12, 1987. He has two sisters, Yanna and Kim. Jason joined Beaudesert Golf Club in junior membership shortly after his sixth birthday. He was allowed to play six holes every day. At the age of eight old, the family moved to Rockhampton. He began winning events in Rockhampton. Jason's father, who died of stomach cancer at the age of 12, passed away and Jason's mother enrolled Jason to Kooralbyn International School. After his father's death, Jason attended Hills International College's golf academy. Jason Day looked up to Tiger Woods and even used his scores as a benchmark for his improvement.At the age of 13, Jason took home the 2000 Australian Masters junior event on the Gold Coast. Jason was an amateur, and won the Australian Junior Order or Merit two times. Day placed seventh in the Australian Junior Order of Merit and was the leading amateur at the Queensland Open.
