Rebecca Alie O'Connell(nee Romijn [/roU'meIn/ roh-MAYN; Dutch: [ro:'mein]born on 6 November, 1972) is an American model and actress. Her credits include Mystique (2000-2006), Joan (2004, both based on Marvel Comics), and Number One (2019, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds). She also has an ongoing role as Alexis Meade on the television series Ugly Betty. Other notable roles include Eve Baird on the TNT series The Librarians, voicing Lois Lane in the DC Animated Movie Universe as well as host of the reality-competition show Skin Wars.Her father is a native of Barneveld in the Netherlands and her mother is an American with Dutch and English descent. Rebecca's mother met Rebecca's dad when she was an adolescent in the Netherlands as part of a student exchange program.
