Martha Higareda

 Higareda was the daughter of Jose Luis Higareda and actress Miriam Higareda. She was born in Villahermosa Tabasco, Mexico. Acting was her first love and she began dancing flamenco, tap, folklore and tap from a young age. She moved to Mexico City at 14 from Tabasco, her home country, to pursue acting. She began her career on stage by appearing in plays like "Little Women" or "Don Juan." "Being an advanced student she went to College several years early at the age of fifteen and was studying Communications at El Tecnologico de Monterrey. In the mornings, she'd attend college, and in the evenings she was at acting school. She also appeared in the theater during weekends. In the year following, her parents and sister relocated to Mexico City and attended acting school together with her. Her first TV appearance was as an anchor hostess for Disney Channel's Zapping Zone. A year later her sister and mother moved to Mexico City to attend acting school with Martha.
