Jennifer Love Hewitt (born February 21 1979) is an American actor and singer. Hewitt began her professional career as an actor and singer during her childhood. She was first featured in commercials for television, and later she joined the cast of Disney Channel's Kids Incorporated (1989-1991). Her breakthrough role was as Sarah Reeves Merrin on the Fox Teen Drama actor (1995-1999). She became famous for her part in I Know What You Did The Last Summer (1997) as well as its 1998 sequel. She also starred in the role of Julie James in the horror films I Know What You Did (1997). Additionally to her appearances in Can't Hardly Wait (1998) and Heartbreakers (2001). Hewitt was also in two Garfield live-action films (2004) and in the 2006 film. She was a part of Melinda Gordon on the CBS supernatural drama Ghost Whisperer (2005-2010), Riley Parks on the Lifetime drama series The Client List (2012-2013) and Special Agent Kate Callahan on the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds (2014-2015), and, since 2018, Maddie Buckley on the Fox first-responder procedural 9-1-1. As a result of her performance in The Client List's pilot film she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Best Actress - Miniseries/TV Film.
