Jamie Lee Curtis

 Jamie Lee Curtis (born November 22nd, 1958) is an American actress as well as a producer, author for children, and activist. She gained notoriety for her portrayal of Lieutenant. Barbara Duran on the ABC sitcom Operation Petticoat (1977-78). In 1978, she made her feature film debut playing Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's Slasher film Halloween that established her as the scream queen, and resulted in a series of parts in horror films such as The Fog, Prom Night, Terror Train (all 1980) and Roadgames (1981). She reprised the role of Laurie in the sequels Halloween II (1981), Halloween H20: 20 years later (1998), Halloween: Resurrection (2002), Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills (2021) and Halloween Ends (2022).Curtis's film career encompasses a variety of genres, such as the cult comedies Trading Places (1983)--for which she received an award from the BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress--and A Fish Called Wanda (1988), for which she was awarded the BAFTA nomination for Best Actress. Her role as Perfect in 1985 earned her the title as a sex icons.
