Halsey

 Ashley Nicolette Frangipane (IPA: /,fraendZI'pa:ni/ FRAN-jih-PAH-nee;born September 29, 1994), known professionally as Halsey (/'ho:lzi/ HAWL-zee), is an American singer and songwriter. She[a] gained attention through self-released music on social media platforms and was signed to Astralwerks in the year 2014. The debut EP, Room 93 was released later in the year. Badlands was her debut studio album. It came out in 2015. In 2015, Halsey released Badlands, her first studio album. Later, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has certified the album Double Platinum. Also, the tracks "Colors" and "Gasoline" were certified as Platinum. She was also included on "Closer", a track from The Chainsmokers. This single was a top chart hit across 10 countries, and was later certified 14x Platinum. Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, her second studio album, was radio-friendly than her previous releases. The album's two singles "Now or Never" and "Bad at Love" made it to the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. The latter made it to the top five. In 2018, she dropped her single "Eastside"
