 Gwen Renye Stefani (/st@'fa:ni/ born on October 3, 1969) is an American artist, singer as well as a fashion designer and actress. She is co-founder, lead vocalist and the primary songwriter of the band No Doubt, whose singles include "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and "Don't Speak", from their 1995 breakthrough album Tragic Kingdom, as well as "Hey Baby" and "It's My Life" from later albums.During the break, Stefani embarked on a solo pop career in 2004 with the release of her debut album, a studio album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. The album was inspired by 1980s pop music and was a commercial and critical success. It was the birthplace of six hits which included "What You Waiting For? ", "Rich Girl"," "Hollaback Girl",and "Cool". "Hollaback Girl" was a top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart while also becoming the first US download to be sold 1 million copies. The Sweet Escape was her second studio album. The singles included "Wind It Up", and "The Sweet Escape" that reached the top three on the Billboard Hot 100 Year-End chart.
