Eva Gaelle Green is a French actress, model and singer from France. Marlene Jobert was her mother. She started her career in the theatre before she made her film debut in Bernardo's The Dreamers (2003). Her film received international recognition for her portrayal of Sibylla the Queen of Jerusalem in Ridley Scott's historical epic Kingdom of Heaven (2005). In the same year, she portrayed Bond girl Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film Casino Royale (2006) in which she was awarded the BAFTA Rising Star Award.Green has since appeared in numerous independent films such as Cracks (2009), Womb (2010) and Perfect Sense (2011). In 2014, she portrayed Artemisia in the 300 sequel, 300: Rise of an Empire as well as Ava Lord in Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez's Sin City sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Green's collaborations with Tim Burton are also well-known. She played Angelique Bouchard in Dark Shadows (2012), and Miss Alma Peregrine in Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Kids (2016).
