 Fox & Friends First, an Fox News breakfast television program, airs every morning at 4 a.m. Eastern/Pacific. It airs every Monday at 4 AM Eastern/1AM Pacific. It is broadcast every weekday at 4 a.m. Eastern and 1 a.m. Pacific. Because of the nature and timing of the show, guests seldom appear, so it focuses more on updates of news stories with correspondents, analysis by the hosts as well as politics.When Fox and Friends First launched in March 2012, the show's executive producer Lauren Petterson, described the show to Fox News Insider as follows: "Think of Fox and Friends First as Fox and Friends on steroids. It will include all the great things about Fox and Friends, but in a warp-speed manner. A cheat sheet, if you will to the big news stories that happen throughout the day. ..."
