Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9 the 9th of August, 1985) is an American actress. She has won numerous awards which include an Satellite Award, five Teen Choice Awards, three MTV Movie Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award and the Tony Award; making her one of the newest people to receive nominations for the "Triple Crown of Acting" and the youngest to be nominated without winning.Kendrick began her career as an actor in theater productions from the age of just. She was the lead in High Society, a Broadway musical that she starred in. For this role, she received a nomination for the Tony Award as Best Featured actress in a Musical. Her film debut was with the musical comedy Camp (2003), and became famous for her role in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012). The film also received recognition for the comedy-drama Up in the Air (2008), which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, she received recognition for her role in the Pitch Perfect series (2012-17).
